Why This Project?
I have always loved history and film making. When I was in my early teens, an older friend promised to tell me his story of how he had survived the invasion of Normandy and rescued his future wife from a concentration camp. Unfortunately, I never made the time to hear his story. He soon died from a battle with cancer. I’ve always regretted not making the time to hear his story.
What I did spend time on was film. As my interest in it grew, I decided to push my studies further. In 2005, I graduated from Eastern New Mexico University. I’ve been working on perfecting my craft every since.
I want my films to make a difference. For the Love of Freedom will do that by making WWII more than facts on a page but stories shared.
